"The Sting" It's named for a hobbit, but its natural size is near to a Roman gladius - 640 mm. 690 with the scabbard.
Blade - 465 x 40 x 7 mm. 310 layers Damascus steel. For cutting age is laminated high carbon instrumental steel W1. Differentialy heat treated with clay.
Handle - acacia and leather. Guard and back part - Damascus steel.
Scabbard - smoked oak, Damascus steel and leather. All leather work is made of my friend Lubomir Ivanov.
